McKenzie Clift Biography
McKenzie Clift is a rising senior at Ball State University, double majoring in economics and broadcast journalism. In the spring of 2013, she served as a Communications Intern for the Indiana House of Representatives, while continuing her course studies by night. She then joined Hirons and Company, an Indianapolis-based public relations and advertising agency, as a Communications Management Assistant. McKenzie later moved to Washington, DC to intern in the broadcast services division of The Heritage Foundation. There, she worked in conjunction with nationally affiliated reporters, producers, and newsmakers to book Heritage’s experts on television and radio stations across the country. At Ball State, McKenzie has served as a producer for NewsLink Indiana and as the Executive Director for Cardinal Communications. She serves as Chairwoman of the Ball State College Republicans and the State Chair of the Indiana Federation of College Republicans. She was nominated for the Indiana Federation of Republican Women Scholarship by the Delaware County Republican Women’s Club.
